Stephie has been teaching for thirty-three years and has been a part of the WFAFA faculty for over 26 years. She danced and trained at NC School of Arts and Joffrey Ballet where she was fortune to train with instructors such as Duncan Noble, Cynthia Gregory, Gyula Pandi, Francesca Corkle, Ann Burton, Sandra Lucas, Fanchon Cordell, Melinda Lawrence, Frank Smith, and Lorraine Cranford. She has held roles in The Nutcracker, Swan Lake, and danced at various charity benefits across the southern United States.  Her love for teaching blossomed in her twenties and became her primary focus. Stephie enjoys sharing the world of ballet by instilling tradition, discipline, and artistic expression with every student she teaches. She is continually fine tuning her teaching styles to meet the needs of as many students as possible. Stephie’s passion is taking her love for ballet and sharing it and nurturing her students to be the athletes that they want to become.  Her approach is a balance of love and discipline to help each dancer reach their potential. She has been recognized for her choreography and has taught many dancers who are now in the industry and touring with known artists. She has also worked as a competition judge on the east coast.
